...It's Friday, Friday...gotta get down on Friday (thank you Rebecca Black for the intro) And on top of that- it 's gorgeous outside. So what am I doing? Sitting at work. It's been a very long week and I wish I was able to take off today (I was off unexpectedly on Monday). Palmer has been sick all week with a kidney infection. Poor little thing. She is miserable and so is mommy. I really wish I was able to be a stay-at-home-mom again. Not just to be with les enfants during the week, but to keep up with everything. The house is a disaster (closet especially, but I'll get to that). I've not been able to do anything to keep it clean. Peres' room was nice and neat until her friend came over and it was destroyed. On Wednesday I came home to my side of the closet all over the floor. Bruce Lee had kindly decided that the hanging rod looked better on the floor and my clothes made a comfy sleeping area. I should have taken pictures, but I really don't want to remember how bad it was/is. Yes, I said is. The rod was bent so we can't hang it back up so everything is still piled on the floor.
I wanted to go and visit YaYa this weekend with the girls, but we have my hubby's brother and sister's engagement shower. Hopefully I'll get to see her before Miss Millie gets here (although she can come any day now).
What's everyone's plan for the weekend? Maybe I'll get a chance to do some cleaning or something crafty. I have a couple of ideas for some art. Oh, and I'll be kickin' in the front seat.
How I do it all (or try to) while being my fabulous self!

So you decided to come back?!
It was really cute, but still a pain to style. It took me way too long to deal with it every morning so it always ended up in a ponytail. Well, for the last few weeks I've been obsessing about Ginnifer Goodwin's haircut. It's super cute and looked so easy to take care of. So on Tuesday, I mossied on up to my stylist and showed her a pic and said "have at it". After about an hour and 7 inches later, I now have a super easy Pixie cut! It literaly takes me 10 minutes to do in the morning. Everyone at work LOVES it...BUT (and I specify a big but), my hubby hates it. He really does not like short hair on girls. I mean, seriously, it's just hair. It will grow back.
We're also gearing up for Peres' first SPRING BREAK!! We plan on going to the great Republic of Maryland for a few days to see YaYa's new baby girl Amelia. As of right now, she's not here yet, but she will be by then. I'm so excited for my twin. I'm also excited that she moved from Tampa to Haggerstown. It's so much closer to us (although still not as close). It will be a lot easier to say to Brandon "I'm taking the girls to see Larissa for the weekend". Peres is really excited to be closer to her YaYa too.

Welcome!
So one of my New Year's resolution was to start a blog...3 months later here I go. I need an outlet from my everyday life, just something that will allow me to vent my feelings and frustrations without going to my husband all the time (as much as he likes to hear me talk, he can only take so much). Here are a few things right now that I need to talk/vent about
In no particular order...
In no particular order...
- the need for a nanny. With Peres going to school at 9 am and me having to be at work at 8:30, we need someone to get her on/off the bus. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem to most people, but we have Palmer who needs to be taken care of during the day. This has been a constant source of tension in my household the last couple of weeks. We've met with some very lovely people, but for some reason or another, it just hasn't worked out.
- money. We need to win the Lotto ASAP! But doesn't everyone feel the same way.
- time...enough said.
- the house. My house is a DISASTER right now. Between the 2 kids, me working full time Monday- Friday, Brandon working full time Tuesday- Saturday, the house has been torn apart. Granted, we have too much stuff and not enough places to put things. Time to do some spring cleaning. Easier said than done! Plus it doesn't help that I want to decorate BIG TIME. Well, redecorate if you can call it that. When we bought our house, we didn't really have enough money to put towards furnishing our house the way I envisioned. Fast forward 4 years and it looks like a mismatched bachelor pad. I have so many things I would like to do, but not enough resources to get it done (please see above to money and time).
